Scottish single-malted whisky: A
Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the creation of one specific
distillery and has not been mixed with whisky from any other
distilleries.
The Macallan- One of the most highly respected
whiskies in the world, with rich orange notes prevalent.
Powerful, full and smooth without the distinct peatiness of an
Islay malt 40%. £2.80
Tailsker- From the Isle of Skye, this is a bold malt with
peat and pepper in abundance. The 18-yearold is considered one
of the world’s greatest whiskies 45.8%. £2.80
Highland Park- From the islands of Orkney to the
north-east of Scotland, there is a certain level of peating
present. It is considered to be the complete all-rounder, with
fruit, spice, smoke and wood perfectly in balance 40%. £2.80
Laphroaig- Prince Charles’ favourite whisky is made
with malted barley that has been dried over peat fires. This
gives the whisky a phenolic, smoky taste. The phenols from the
peat smoke give barbecued bacon and fish notes 40%. £2.80
The Glenlivet- A big, sweet and honeyed Speyside
whisky, with a fresh apple flavour. £2.80
Glenfiddich- A typical Speyside whisky, characterised
by its clean, honey and fruit flavours 40%. £2.80
Glenmorangie- A rich and full whisky. Made using
mineral enriched water that has been filtered through limestone
and sandstone for 100 years so has a more savoury and earth
characteristic. £2.80
Aberlour- A Speyside Whisky matured in a fine balance
of sherry and bourbon cask, Aberlour offers a rich, smooth,
mellow flavour, marrying aromas of autumn fruits with hints of
spices, including cinnamon and nutmeg 40%. £2.80
Scottish blended malts: Blended
Scotch whisky is made from one or more single malt whiskies
blended with one or more single grain whiskies.
Johnnie Walker Green Label- This blended malt has a
fresh and fruity combination 43%. £2.80 Dalwhinnie-
From the highest distillery in Scotland, in the Grampian
mountains with their fresh spring water comes this delightful
gentle delicate smoke malt 43%. £2.80 Glenfarclas-
Another quality speyside malt with 170 years of traditional and
experience through 6 generations of the same family.
Uncompromising quality single malt 40%. £2.80 Glen Moray-
A subtle spreyside malt matured in oak casks, light gold in

Scottish blended whisky: Made up of single malts from
more than one distillery. Teacher’s – A full
flavoured peaty whisky that is overflowing with character 40%. £2.25
Chivas Regal- This is a luxurious whisky with its
renowned smoothness and a honeyed, fruity taste. £2.40
Famous Grouse- The smooth blend marries the finest
malt whiskies with superb grain whiskies. The result is a full,
perfect balance of flavours, with a hint of citrus that provide
the distinctively long, clean finish. £2.25
Johnnie Walker Red Label- A powerful combination of
spicy, smoky malts and lingering lighter grains. £2.40
Johnnie Walker Black label- A smooth, medium-bodied
blend with richness and a slight peatyness running through it.

Bell’s- Aged in the traditional oak cask, with the
delicious flavours of the wood, the whisky emerges mellow, rich
and full flavoured. Because the oak cask has previously held
either sherry or bourbon, those extra flavours seep in too,
helping to round out the character 40%. £2.25
Irish whisky: Irish whisky is
normally triple distilled, instead of twice as in Scotland,
making for a fruitier and smoother drink.
Jameson- A smooth and mellow whiskey with toasted wood
and sherry undertones 40%. £2.50
Bushmills- Gently matured leaving behind soft vanilla
notes. This is a beautifully rounded whiskey with a distinct
honeyed sweetness and a rich warming character. £2.50
Paddy Old Irish- Triple distillation and long years
spent maturing in oak casks offering a rich and mellow flavoured
whiskey 40%. £2.50
American/Canadian whisky
Jack Daniel’s- A Tennessee Whiskey, double-distilled
and aged in new charred oak barrels. In their charcoal mellowing
they drip the whiskey through about 10 ft of sugar maple
charcoal. The result is a nice mixture of light fruits and a
little spice and char, medium dry finish. £2.50
Southern Comfort- A fruit, spice, and whisky flavoured
liqueur. Made from a blend of whisky, peach, orange, vanilla,
sugar, and cinnamon flavours. £2.25
Canadian Club- A light and versatile blended whisky,
Canadian Club is the only Canadian whisky blended before aging
in white oak barrels. This allows the flavours of the rye, rye
malt, barley malt and corn to merry, giving a smooth taste.
